LEXINGTON, Ky. - Colorado College jumped two
spots to 20th while Southwestern University remained 23rd in the
American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) top 25 rankings for
week six of the 2012 season.
The Tigers, who last week were ranked 22nd in the AVCA rankings,
went 3-0 during the week of Oct 1-7 as they picked up three
SCAC wins. Colorado College is now 15-6 overall and 5-1 in SCAC
play on the season. The Tigers are 7-3 in their last 10
matches.
Southwestern went 2-2 overall and 2-1 in SCAC play during the week. The Pirates now stand at 14-6 overall and 5-1 in league play on the season. Southwestern was ranked 23rd in last week's rankings.
