Colorado College's Milne Named D3hoops.com Preseason All-American

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. - Colorado College junior guard Ryan Milne was named to the 2012-13 D3hoops.com Preseason All-America Fourth-Team team today, the website announced.

As a sophomore, Milne averaged 19.0 points, 5.0 assists and 4.0 rebounds per game in leading the Tigers to the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference tournament. Milne's numbers were slightly better during conference play as the Phoenix, Ariz. native averaged 20.1 points and 5.6 assists per game in 14 conference games.

Milne led the league in scoring, assists and ranked among the SCAC leaders in free throw percentage (85.0% - second), 3-point field goals (2.4 per game - third), assists/turnover ratio (1.6 - fifth) and field goal percentage (38.1% - sixth).

He led the Tigers in scoring 14 times during the season and scored 20 or more points 11 times including two 30+ point efforts. Milne garnered SCAC Player of the Week honors three times during the season.

For his efforts Milne was named to the 2011-12 All-SCAC First-Team. He also was named to the 2011-12 D3hoops.com All-West Region Second-Team.
