LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - The Trinity University trio of Jennifer White, Emily Jorgens and Shelby Guenthardt were all named to the 2012 Capital One Academic All-District® first-team, as announced by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).
Jorgens, a sophomore, earned first-team laurels thanks to a 4.00 Grade Point Average (GPA) as an undeclared major. Guenthardt was named to the team while maintainig a 3.84 GPA as an engineering major. White was recognized for her 3.96 GPA as a nueroscience major.
First-team Academic All-District® honorees advance to the Capital One Academic All-America® Team ballot, where first-, second- and third-team All-America honorees will be selected later this month.
