SAN ANTONIO, Texas - The Trinity Tiger men's soccer team will host three teams in the Sectionals Round of the NCAA Playoffs on Saturday and Sunday.

Trinity will face Montclair State University on Saturday night at 7:30 p.m. in the NCAA Third Round.  Ohio Northern University and Susquehanna University open the weekend with a game at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday.  The winners meet in the NCAA Quarterfinals on Sunday at 5:00 p.m.

The Tigers defeated Claremont Mudd-Scripps College 3-1 in their playoff opener, then after playing to a scoreless tie with Mississippi College, Trinity won 4-1 in a shootout to advance in the tournament.

Trinity is playing in its 16th NCAA Tournament, having made 11 consecutive appearances in the playoffs.  The Tigers won the NCAA Division III Championship in 2003, as well as finishing second in 2007.

All four of the teams in San Antonio this weekend are ranked in the top 10 in the latest D3Soccer.com poll.  Trinity is fourth, Ohio Northern is fifth, Montclair State is sixth, and Susquehanna is ranked 10th.  Each team is also in the top 15 of last week's NSCAA Division III poll.

Tickets for the weekend’s events will be $6.00 for adults/general admission, $3.00 for students and senior citizens, and $2.00 for children (ages 3-12).  Gates will open 90 minutes before the first game begins, and all games will be played on Trinity’s campus.

Sunday's winner will advance to the NCAA Semifinals and Finals, played at Blossom Soccer Stadium in San Antonio.  Trinity and San Antonio Sports are co-hosting the NCAA Division III Championships for the fourth straight season.
