MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. - Though the Trinity
University baseball team went 3-0 during the week, the Tigers fell
three spots from 10th to 13th in this week's D3baseball.com Top 25
poll.
The Tigers, who are now 29-7 overall and 13-5 in the SCAC, have
won 23 of their last 28 games and resume play today at Texas
Lutheran.
Linfield took over top spot in the poll with 602 points and was one of four teams to receive first place votes joining Johns Hopkins, Kean and St. Thomas (Minn.). Trinity totaled 280 points in the poll, just one point behind No. 12 Texas-Tyler.
Trinity finishes SCAC regular season play on April 20-21 when the Tigers travel to rival Southwestern University for the conclusion of their five game regular season series. Earlier this season, Trinity swept three games from the Pirates in San Antonio.
