TOWSON, Md. - Trinity University senior outfielder Pat Hirschberg was named to the 2013 Capital One Academic All-America® Baseball team, as selected and announced by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) today.
Hirschberg, a business administration/accounting major was named to the second-team where he carried a 3.83 Grade Point Average (GPA). He was the only Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference baseball student-athlete named to the team.
He helped guide the Tigers to the program's fourth SCAC title in the last six seasons and berth in the NCAA Division III Baseball Championship for the fourth consecutive year. Earlier this month, Hirschberg was named to the Capital One Academic All-District® and D3baseball.com All-America Teams.
