Southwestern Women's Golf Tied for Ninth After Third Round of NCAA Championship

DESTIN, Fla. - The Southwestern University women's golf team is tied for ninth after the third round of the 2013 NCAA Division III Women's Golf Championship after the Pirates totaled a +37 team score on day three of the tournament. Official Site | Results 

Senior Karissa Speck turned in a team best 78 (+6), just edging out teammate Bernice Leonard's 80 (+8).  lightly better than teammate Bernice Leonard's and Karissa Speck's 79 (+7).

Kelsey Coburn shot an 82 (+10) and now sits at +20 overall. Her +20 score through three rounds places her in a tie for 12th place. Also scoring for the Pirates was Keeley Coburn who fired an +13 85 on the day. Lauren Boone's 87 was not counted.

Mary Hardin-Baylor, at +64, will enter the final round with the team lead as the Cru leads Texas-Tyler by seven shots. Rounding out the top five are George Fox (+79), Methodist (+84) and Williams (+93).
