LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - The Colorado College trio of Kyle Buchwalder, Nick Lammers and Daniel Wright as well as Southwestern University's Evan Perkins were named first-team Capital One Academic All-District® selections, the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) announced.
All four student-athletes were named to the District 8 first-team. Buchwalder maintained a 3.94 Grade Point Average (GPA) as a biochemistry major. Lammers earned the honor with a 3.86 GPA while majoring in physics. Wright is an anthropology major with a 3.68 GPA. Perkins carries a 3.58 GPA as a biology major.
First-team Academic All-District ® honorees advance to the Capital One Academic All-America® Team ballot, where first-, second- and third-team All-America honorees will be selected later this month.
