MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. - Colorado College junior guard Ryan Milne was named to the D3hoops.com Team of the Week for the final regular season week of the 2012-13 season.
Milne hit a game-winning, 60-foot shot (see video below) as time expired to give the Tigers a 64-62 victory over Southwestern University in the final regular season game of the season for both squads.
Milne made eight of 15 shots from the field, including four of eight from behind the arc to pace all players with 21 points in Sunday's contest. The junior guard also dished out four assists and grabbed three steals. His game-winning shot came just moments after the Pirates overcame a 17-point deficit to take a 62-61 lead on Michael Cantu's layup with six seconds remaining.
On Friday against Trinity, Milne had a 23-point effort as he made 9 of 22 shots from the field, including five of 15 attempts from three-point range. He also dished out a team-high six assists and grabbed five rebounds to aid the defense.
