ROCKWALL, Texas - The Trinity Tiger men's swimming & diving team repeated as Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Champions on Saturday night.

Trinity's men scored 1,039.5 points to defeat Colorado College, who had 810.5 points. The win gave the Tigers the program's sixth all-time SCAC championship.

Andrew Thiesse won the men's 1650. Thiesse earned provisional qualifying times for the NCAA Championships in the process.

Sean Fronczak was the only Tiger swimmer - male or female - to earn All-SCAC honors in the 200 backstroke, finishing third beating a pair of Centenary swimmers.

In the 100 free Stephen Culberson won the individual title and provisionally qualified in 45.66 seconds - narrowly missing the Tiger record himself.

The 200 breaststroke saw the Tiger men again matched their female counterparts with two All-Conference performances from Nikita Chirkov and T.J. Jones. Chirkov won the event in 2:07.92, which also breaks the TU record set in 2011.

Three Trinity swimmers earned All-SCAC honors in the 200 butterfly, including men's standouts Brandon Tunon and Spencer Bard. The duo finished second and third and Lucas Belury finished fifth to give the Tigers three of the top five spots in the race.

Trinity was edged by less than a second in the 400 free relay to finish in 3:07.10 as Adam Thomas, Stephen Culberson, Jon Hoffman, and Brandon Tunon earned All-SCAC honors by finishing second.
