Trinity Falls to 9th in D3baseball.com Top 25 Poll

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. - After a 1-2 week (0-2 SCAC) week of play, Trinity University fell six spot from third to ninth in this week's D3baseball.com Top 25 poll.

The Tigers, who are now 24-7 overall and 9-5 in the SCAC, have won 18 of their last 23 games and resume play today hosting Hardin-Simmons.

While Trinity fell six spots, the Tigers still received one first place votes. Cortland State received 14 first place votes and 601 points to overtake Linfield (Ore.) for the top spot in the poll. Trinity totaled 408 points in the poll and was one of six teams to receive first place votes.

After hosting Hardin-Simmons, Trinity resumes SCAC play on April 6-7 when the Tigers travel to Austin College for the conclusion of their five game regular season series. Earlier this season, Trinity took two of three from the Kangaroos in San Antonio.
