SAN ANTONIO, Texas - Bailey Tisdale scattered six hits, struck out one, and allowed just one earned run in pitching a complete game to lead second-seeded University of St. Thomas to its first SCAC champions as the Celts defeated top-seeded Texas Lutheran University, 2-1 on Sunday afternoon afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- St. Thomas scored the game's first run in the bottomof the second when Delayne Moreno doubled down the left field line which scored Hailey Jackson.
- Texas Lutheran responded by tying the game in the top of the third thanks to Caelee Clark's single up the middle that scored Isabella Rodriguez.
- After retiring the Bulldogs in order in the top fo the fourth, the Celts retook the lead for good in the bottom half of the fourth. After Jackson's single to short put runners on the corners, Kayleigh Deakle's RBI groundout to second base scored Adelyn Becerra from third to provide the championship winning margin.
