Anderson had an impressive week, leading the Celts to a 2-1 record against non-conference foes, averaging 20.0 points on an impressive 64.9 percent shooting. He reached the 20-point plateau in two of St. Thomas’ three contests last week, playing over 30 minutes a contest. Anderson also added 4.0 rebounds, 1.3 steals and 0.7 assists per game to help lift St. Thomas to a winning week.
Other ou. tstanding performances in the SCAC:Junior guard Braeden Board of Centenary led the Gents to a 2-1 week, averaging 12.7 points, 6.7 rebounds and 1.3 assists per contests. His week was highlighted by an 18 point effort in the Gents, 69-66, win over Ozarks on the road last Sunday. Sophomore forward Adrian Price of Colorado College 10.5 points on a blistering 62.5 percent from the field as the Tigers split a pair of tough non-conference contests against Chicago and Colby. Price was also strong on the boards, adding six rebounds per game. Senior guard Darian Gibson of Schreiner led the Mountaineers to a perfect 3-0 record last week after averaging 15.0 points, 5.3 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game. His week was highlighted by an 18-point performance on 83 percent shooting in Schreiner’s 103-98 win over Concordia. Senior forward Mason Green of Texas Lutheran continued his strong start to the year, leading the Bulldogs to a 1-1 week in the Paul Peak Classic, scoring 21 points in the Bulldogs loss to Concordia and tallying an 11-point, 10-rebound double-double in the Bulldogs 72-53 win over Hendrix. Sophomore guard Jacob Harvey of Trinity posted career-highs of 23 points and eight rebounds the Tigers’ 88-84 victory over LeTourneau. He scored eight of the last 13 points for the Tigers to hold onto the win. For the week, Harvey averaged 20 points per contest at Southwestern's Paul Peak Classic as he dropped 17 on Hamilton College (NY) and did so shooting an overwhelming 61.9 percent from the floor and 62.5 percent from beyond the arc.
