In the Bulldogs’ 4-2 win, Jurden scored twice, had a hit, and walked twice. She had an on-base percentage of .625 in the two games. Freshman outfielder Diamond Elizondo of Trinity collected three hits on Sunday, leading the Tigers to a season-opening doubleheader sweep of the University of Texas at Dallas. She followed that performance by going 2-4 with a run scored in game two.
