LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - The Thanksgiving break saw SCAC men's basketball teams continue non-conference play, highlighted by Schreiner and Texas Lutheran testing the #9 and #12 teams in the nation at the Whit Classic in Spokane, Wash.
Although neither picked up a victory at the tournament, #12 Whitworth needed a late 17-2 run to overcome a seven point deficit to defeat TLU, 95-87, on Friday night.
Schreiner did earn its first victory of the season earlier in the week with a 94-89 victory over Mary Hardin-Baylor.
