LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - All seven Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference baseball teams competed last week, posting a cumulative 10-16 record.
Centenary College was the only team to earn a sweep of their games for the week, defeating Northland College 19-2 and 12-2 in a pair of shortened games. The Gents are now 13-3 for the season and on a six game winning streak.
Southwestern University and Trinity University each went 2-2 last week.
The Pirates fell at the start of the week to UT-Dallas, but took two-of-three against East Texas Baptist to earn the series win.
Trinity moved to 8-7 after this week, falling Tuesday to Mary Hardin-Baylor, but picking up a pair of wins over Babson to win the three-game series.
Texas Lutheran split their games against MIT, falling 2-3 in the first, but rallying for an 8-4 win to close out the weekend.
