LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - Two of the league's seven men's swimming teams were in the pool this past weekend.
Colorado College opened its 2016-17 season at the University of Colorado Buff Invitational. The Tigers finished with 593 points to finish second among the eight competiting teams. Freshman Eric Dallesasse led the way by winning the 200-yard individual medley and 100 butterfly race. He also placed fourth in the 100 backstroke, which fellow freshman Stefan Bay won with a time of 55.66 seconds.
McMurry participated at the Wayland Baptist University Invitational where the Warhawks finished third among four teams. Sophomore Jerick Pena had the team's top finishes with a pair of fifth places. Pena had a 2:04.11 in the 200 individual medley and posted a 54.62 seconds in the 100 butterfly.
