CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. -- Trinity University sophomore Wilson Lambeth has been tabbed as the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Division III Men's National Player to Watch.

The announcement was made Wednesday night at the NCAA Division III Men's and Women's Tennis Championships.  Earlier, the ITA announced Lambeth had been selected as the West Region Player to Watch.

The Tiger duo meet the fourth-seeded team of Zachary Bessette and Jayson Fung of Amherst (MA) College at 4:30 p.m. EDT. Lambeth and Tyer sported a 14-10 mark in dual-match play.

During the season, Lambeth chalked up a 13-13 record in singles competition. He also sported a mark of 9-8 at the #2 singles position. Lambeth earned All-Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference honors, for the second consecutive year, in both singles and doubles. Additionally, Lambeth was selected for the SCAC All-Tournament Team.
