LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - Four Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference women's golf teams competed this week at the Schreiner Spring Shootout.
Schreiner University and Southwestern Unviersity tied for second place at the tournament, while Trinity University finished just two shots behind in fourth place and Texas Lutheran University came in sixth.
Schreiner and Trinity each posted rounds of 313 on Tuesday, marking the lowest team rounds of the tournament. The Pirates held Monday's lowest score with a 318.
Southwestern freshmen came in the top two spots individually, with Valentina Olivieri taking top honors with a 36-hole score of 154. Leilani McDaniel posted a 155 for second place, while Trinity's Shelby DeVore came in third and Schreiner's Kaycee Bankert took fourth.
