LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - Schreiner University moved to the top of the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference standings with a pair of wins this weekend.
Schreiner took sole posession of the league's top spot with wins over the University of Dallas and another top SCAC team, Colorado College. The Mountaineers moved to 7-1 in league action, and extended their winning streak to five games.
Southwestern University boasts a five game streak of their own, moving to 6-3 in the SCAC after defeating Austin College and Centenary College. The Pirates are now 6-3 in the SCAC and tied for second with Texas Lutheran and Colorado College.
Trinity University moved to 4-4 in conference play with a thrilling double-overtime win at home against Dallas. Watch the three-point buzzer beater by Trinity's Brooks Mays that ended the game below.
