LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - Six of the seven Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference baseball teams competed last week, posting a cumulative record of 13-8.
Centenary College, Schreiner University and Texas Lutheran University each earned sweeps for the week.
The Gents, went 4-0 against Rust College, outscoring the Bearcats 80-5 over the stretch.
Schreiner earned its first sweep since the 2011 season, taking down Dallas Christian College on the road,while the Bulldogs grabbed their first series sweep of the season, going 3-0 against McMurry University.
Trinity University went 2-1 for the week against Sul Ross State University, including one win in extra innings.
