SAN ANTONIO - Trinity University swimmer Lindsay Hagmann has been elected to the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Division III Academic Women's At-Large District 8 Team.
The Tiger junior is an accounting major, and a superior student-athlete. Hagmann is now eligible for selection for the CoSIDA Academic All-America Team, to be announced June 6.
Hagmann qualified for the NCAA Division III Swimming & Diving Championships, for the second straight year. She placed third in the 100-yard freestyle and earned All-America accolades. Hagmann finished ninth in the 50-yard freestyle, for Honorable Mention All-America distinction.
The Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference honored Hagmann as the SCAC Female Swimmer of the Year, and Female Swimmer of the Meet .Hagmann helped spark Trinity to a 14th consecutive SCAC Championship.
Hagmann captured the gold medal in the 100-yard breaststroke, the 50-yard freestyle, and the 100-yard freestyle. She also contributed to the victories in the 200-yard medley relay, the 200-yard freestyle relay. The 400-yard freestyle relay, and the 800-yard freestyle relay.
