SHREVEPORT, La. - The fourth-seeded Austin College 'Roos swept fifth-seeded University of Dallas to earn a 3-0 victory to open the 2016 SCAC Volleyball Championship. Official Website | Postgame Interview
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Austin College opened up a 13-4 lead in the first set and held off a late Dallas rally to earn a 25-21 first set win.
- In the second set, Dallas led 12-10 before Austin College rattled off four straight points to take a 14-12 lead. The 'Roos won eight of the last 10 points to earn the 25-18 victory.
- The third set was back and forth until, with the set tied at 17, Austin College won eight of the next 11 points to take the 25-20 win and close out the match.
