Three Trinity Women's Soccer Players Named NSCAA Scholar All-Americans

KANSAS CITY, Kan. – Three Trinity University women’s soccer players were named to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Scholar All-America teams.

Yasmeen Farra, a senior engineering science major, was tabbed for the Scholar All-America First Team with a grade point average of 3.47. Farra was a huge offensive threat for the Tigers, recording 14 goals and seven assists on the season. She was named the SCAC Offensive Player of the Year for her performance.

Juniors Julia Kelly and Julia Camp were selected for the NSCAA Scholar All-America Second Team.

Kelly, an economics major from Grand Island, N.Y., posted an impressive 3.69 GPA. During the season, Kelly scored eight goals and dished out three assists for 19 points. Kelly was a key member of the Trinity defense, which posted 16 shutouts in 24 games.

Camp, an English major Houston, Texas, holds a 3.76 GPA. Camp finished second among the Tigers’ with 32 points, scoring 12 goals and accounting for eight assists. Camp also had two game-winners on the season.
