LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. -- Trinity University seniors Yasmeen Farra and Jordan Leeper have been elected to the D3soccer.com Women's All-America Team. Complete Release

Farra was tabbed for the All-America First Team, while Leeper was chosen for the Third Team. Each player was a major contributor to the Tigers successful 23-1-0 campaign.

A midfielder and offensive threat, Farra was earlier selected for the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) All-America First Team, and the NSCAA All-West Region First Team. Farra led the Tigers with 14 goals, and seven game-winners. She tied for eighth place nationally in game-winning goals. Coupled with seven assists, Farra finished the season with a team-leading 35 points.

Farra was also named to the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-America Third Team, and to the NSCAA Scholar All-America First Team. She was honored as the 2016 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) Offensive Player of the Year. Farra made the All-SCAC Team, and SCAC All-Tournament Team.

Leeper, a defender, helped anchor Trinity's taut defensive unit. The Tigers chalked up 16 shutouts in 24 games, and yielded only eight goals all season. Offensively, Leeper scored two goals (one game-winner), and shelled out 10 assists for 14 points. She was elected to the CoSIDA Academic All-America Third Team, to the All-SCAC First Team, and SCAC All-Tournament Team.

Trinity was skippered by first-year Head Coach Dylan Harrison, a former Tiger men's soccer standout. The Tigers were undefeated in the regular season, and won the first three rounds of the NCAA Division III Tournament. Trinity lost a tightly played Quarterfinals matchup to eventual champion Washington University in St. Louis (MO) in a home matchup.

Earlier, Trinity won its eighth consecutive SCAC Championship, and the 21st overall. The Tigers earned a final ranking of fifth in the nation from D3soccer.com, and were sixth by the NSCAA.
