LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - Four of the league's seven women's teams were in the pool this past weekend as teams continue to taper for the conference championship meet.
Led by freshman Jio Chang, the Colorado College women's swimming and diving team finished the CC Classic Sunday in second place.
Chang produced a pair of top-three finishes on Sunday, taking second in the 200 butterfly with a time of 2:17.22, and joining junior Justina Zuckerman and freshmen Sarah Dunbar and Selma Jukic for a third-place finish in the 400 freestyle relay.
Freshman Alma Jukic placed in the top five in two events as well, finishing fourth in the 1,650 freestyle and fifth in the 200 free. CC also took three other top-10 spots in the 1,650 free, with junior Emily Harrison, sophomore Hannah Varner and senior Zoe Pierrat finishing fifth, sixth and seventh, respectively.
At Saint Leo University, the Trinity's women team faced off against a pair of Division II schools, The Tigers defeated Rollins College, 155-90, but succumbed to the host Saint Leo with a final 161-87 team score.
Lindsay Hagmann won the women's 200-yard freestyle, clocking in at 1:57.26. Hagmann was also runner-up in the 100-yard freestyle, finishing in 53.13 seconds, the seventh-best time in Trinity history.
First-year Dezion Hartman was fourth in the 1,000-yard freestyle behind her DII counterparts, posting a mark of 11:16.05, which puts her in the fifth-fastest time slot in Trinity's record book.
