HOW IT HAPPENED
- Trinity was in command most of the match, maintaining a relatively comfortable margin throughout the 25-20 first set.
- The second set was hotly contested with nine ties and four lead changes. The set was tied at 17-17 before Trinity ran off eight of the next 10 points to earn the 25-19 victory.
- With the third set tied at 11, Trinity closed out the match on a 14-6 run to earn the 3-0 win.

- Austin College is guaranteed its highest SCAC tournament finish since at least the 2012 season. A victory in the third/fourth place match would give the 'Roos their highest finish since losing to Trinity in the 2007 tournament final.
