LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - Southwestern University outfielder Ethan Hallmark earned his spot on the D3Baseball.com Team of the Week after a huge performance last week to lead the Pirates to a three-game series sweep.
Hallmark led Southwestern to a 4-0 week, as the junior outfielder hit .667 (10-for-15) with a double, a triple, three home runs and nine RBIs. Hallmark racked up 22 total bases during the week, which translated to a 1.467 slugging percentage. He also reached base at a .667 clip, scored eight times and swiped two bases.
Last week, Hallmark led the league in batting average, hits, runs scored (8), runs batted in (9) and stolen bases.
The Pirates will face the University of Dallas in a three-game series this weekend. Southwestern currently sits in third place in the conference standings with a 5-4 record.
