SHENANDOAH, Texas - Trinity University finished off its part in the NCAA Men's and Women's Swimming & Diving Championships on Saturday, turning in two All-America performances.

Trinity's women finished 19th at the four-day event, while the men were tied for 50th. Four Tiger swimmers and divers represented the teams at nationals.

Lindsay Hagmann led the way on the final day of the meet for Trinity, placing third in the women's 100-yard freestyle. Earlier in the day, Hagmann broke her own school record with a time of 50.32 seconds in the preliminaries, qualifying fourth for the finals event.

This is the second time the Tiger junior became an All-American in the 100 free, after finishing seventh at last year's NCAA Champiosnhips.

Earlier in the week, Hagmann earned Honorable Mention All-America honors in the 50-yard freestyle, winning the consolation title for a ninth-place overall finish.

On the men's side, first-year swimmer Jacob Hurrell-Zitelman swam the grueling 1,650-yard freestyle in 15:51.82 for a 16th-place finish. That finish yielded Honorable Mention All-America recognition for the Tiger record-holder in the mile.

Trinity divers Sarah Kate Mrkonich and Mollie Patzke also competed over the previous three days of competition. Mrkonich earned All-America honors in the 1-meter competition, as well as securing Honorable Mention All-America status on the 3-meter board.
