KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- After a winning weekend for both teams, Trinity University and Colorado College held onto No. 1 and No. 20, respectively, in the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) poll.
In the D3soccer.com poll, Trinity is still ranked second and receiving five first place votes, while Colorado College jumped to No. 17.
Trinity (15-0, 11-0 SCAC) defeated Centenary College and Austin College this weekend the remain undefeated on the season.
TU is currently ranked 15th in Division III, averaging 3.00 goals per game. The defense has also remained strong, allowing just 0.46 goals per contest (6th in the NCAA). CC has also remained strong on defense, allowing 0.58 goals per game, which ranks 19th nationally.
Over the weekend, Colorado College (12-2-1, 9-2 SCAC) posted a pair of comeback victories over Southwestern University and Texas Lutheran University.
The two teams will switch opponents this weekend, with CC traveling to Centenary College and Austin College and Trinity making the short trips to Southwestern and Texas Lutheran.
