HOW IT HAPPENED
- Colorado College dominated the first set and never led by less than four points after opening a quick 7-2 lead.
- The second set was one of momentum swings. TLU opened a 20-15 lead only to see CC come back to tie the set at 20. TLU then proceeded to win the next three points but CC ralled to win the next four to take a 24-23 lead. After the Bulldogs responded to tie the set at 24, CC won the next two points to take the second set, 26-24.
- The score was tied 14 times and the lead changed eight times in the third set, but CC never held less than a two point lead down the stretch and took the match with a 25-22 victory in the third set.

NOTABLES
- Friday's match was the second consecutive time that Colorado College and Texas Lutheran have faced off in the SCAC Volleyball Tournament. The two teams met in the third-place match a year ago which also resulted in a 3-0 victory for the CC Tigers.
- With the victory, Colorado College improved to 8-2 all-time in opening round SCAC tournamet matches.
