GREENWOOD, Ind. - The Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) earned two accolades in the 2015-16 College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) publications contest.
"It is very humbling and rewarding when your work is recognized among your peers as the Best of the Best," said SCAC Commissioner Dwayne Hanberry. "These awards serve as recognition of the great work that was done throughout the 2015-16 year by everyone in this office. I want to especially thank Assistant Commissioner Katie Mucci for her leadership and the vision she provides in this area."
The 2015 Men's Soccer Preseason Media Guide was recognized as the top conference media guide entry across all Divisions, including finishing ahead of the men's basketball guide from the NCAA Division I Missouri Valley Conference.
The conference's 2015-16 Men's Basketball prospectus received Best Cover honors, making it the second year in a row that the SCAC has earned this award.
Mucci designed and produced the winning publications. Former league intern Breana McCoy also assisted with the men's soccer guide.
