KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- After another pair of wins, Trinity University women's soccer remains at No. 3 in the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) poll.
Trinity is also ranked No. 1 in the West Region poll from the NSCAA, and No. 3 nationally in the D3soccer.com ranking.
The Tigers moved to 10-0-0 on the season after defeating Southwestern University and Texas Lutheran University at home.
The Tigers offense remains dominant on the season, averaging 4.20 goals per game, which ranks seventh in the nation. The defense has also outplayed opponents, with Trinity allowing just 0.298 goals per game, 14th best in Division III.
In league action, Trinity has yet to give up a score, but has knocked in 22 total goals, 4.40 per game.
So far this season, the Tigers are averaging 28.2 shots per game (second in NCAA) and allowing opponents just 2.9 shots.
Trinity will face non-conference foe, UT-Dallas this weekend, before taking on Schreiner University in their first meeting Tuesday.
