LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. -This Week's Results: SCAC volleyball continued into its third week of competition, highlighted by a Top 5 intra-conference matchup as No. 4 Colorado College posted a weekend sweep over No.1 Trinity.

No. 4 Colorado College (6-0 SCAC) posted a 3-0 sweep of top-ranked Trinity on Friday, followed by a 3-2 come-from-behind victory over the TU Tigers on Saturday. On Friday, three CC Tigers had double-digit kills with Allie Freeburg and Isabella Vasquez with 13 apiece, while Georgia Mullins added 10. In game two, Freeburg finished with 13 kills, with Isabella Vasquez recording a double-double with 11 kills and 10 digs. Isabelle Aragon-Menzel dished out 42 assists and added 17 digs, and sophomore Peyton Hummel added a match-high 22 digs. Annie Rose Leggett led the way for Trinity (4-2) over the weekend. The senior had eight kills and a team-high nine digs on Friday, and narrowly missed a triple double with 10 kills, 11 digs and nine aces on Saturday.

Austin College (4-2) produced a pair of 3-0 wins over Dallas on Saturday. In their first match, the ‘Roos were led by Riley Abernathy’s nine kills and 15 digs, while Victoria Smith and Shelbi Cook each chipped in with seven kills. Ali Horton recorded a double-double of 17 assists and 13 digs, and Mari Prazak paced the ‘Roos defensively with 14 digs. In match two, Smith recorded 10 kills and added four total blocks while Prazak had a team-high 23 digs with Abernathy adding 11. For Dallas (0-4), Dayjah Whyte led the way with eight kills and one block in the first match and added 11 kills and three blocks in the second match.

Southwestern (1-1) made its 2021 debut with a two-game conference set against Schreiner. The Pirates finished with a split, posting a 3-1 victory on Friday. Emma White led SU in the win with 19 of the team's 60 kills on 43 attacks with seven errors for a .279 hitting percentage. She added 13 digs. Riley Brantley also finished with double figure kills, recording 15 on an efficient .353 hitting percentage while committing just two errors in 34 attacks.

Schreiner (1-5) claimed game two against Southwestern, with a 3-2 victory – the first against the Pirates since joining the conference prior to the 2013 season. The Mountaineers totaled 54 kills on a .153 clip, recording 22 errors in 209 attacks. Kayla Lofland had 15 of the team total kills, and Elora Reyes added 26 digs in the victory.

Centenary (1-3) split a pair of conference games over the weekend, adding a 3-2 victory over Texas Lutheran. Junior Alyssa Davis led the Ladies in the victory, recording 27 digs and 22 kills. Liz Lowe had 29 total attacks, adding 15 kills and four digs.

Texas Lutheran (1-5) earned it’s split with a 3-1 victory over Centenary in game one. Cailey Young and Paige Day recorded 12 and 11 kills, respectively, in the victory. Day added three aces, 11 digs and a block assist. The Bulldogs registered 12 total blocks in the win, with Baylie Baccinelli recording half a dozen.

The fourth week of SCAC volleyball continues with four more conference doubleheaders on the schedue.
