LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. -- Five conference series highlighted SCAC Softball action, including Schreiner posting a perfect 5-0 record and Texas Lutheran extending its regular season winning streak to 37-straight games.

TLU (23-4, 14-0) swept Dallas (2-14, 2-13) in a three-game series last weekend, scoring a total of 38 runs and allowing just three. Kelly Jurden hit 1.000 for the week with seven hits in seven at-bats to lead the Bulldogs at the plate. Jurden had at least two hits in every game and scored nine runs in the three games. She also stole six bases, walked three times, and drove in a run. She reached base all 11 times she came to the plate. She did not walk a batter. Strother improved to 8-1 overall and lowered her season ERA to 1.13.

Schreiner (12-19, 7-7) has put together a five-game SCAC winning streak for the third time in the last four full seasons, following a two-game sweep of Trinity (10-9, 6-7) last Tuesday and a three-game sweep of Austin College (2-17, 1-13) last weekend. Freshman Marina Delaluna posted a 4-for-8 performance at the plate to lead Trinity at the plate in the series. Highlights included a solo homer, her team-best third longball of the season, to run-rule Centenary in the series' first outing, 9-1. In the circle it was Allie Holbrook that pitched a complete-game shutout in the rubber match the secure the series victory for the Tigers. Holbrook struck out five and scattered just four hits in the win.

In the final series of the week, St. Thomas (17-9, 12-3) picked up a 2-1 series win over Southwestern (9-15, 7-8) and currently sits in second place in the league standings.
