LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. – Centenary sophomore forward Seth Thomas was named to the D3hoops.com Team of the Week for the week of January 24th, it was announced by D3hoops.com.
Thomas led the Gents in a road sweep of Schreiner over the weekend. He posted a double-double on Friday, recording a career-high 24 points while grabbing 12 rebounds as the Gents earned the 79-75 victory. On Saturday, Thomas had 17 points and 13 rebounds in 28 minutes of action for his second double-double of the weekend as Centenary took the 70-67 victory.
His 13 rebounds established a new career high, breaking his previous mark of 12 from the previous evening.
Thomas is currently first in the SCAC with 18.5 points-per-game, second with 10.5 rebounds and tied third with 2.8 steals per contest.
Thomas is the first SCAC men’s student athlete to earn D3hoops.com National TOTW recognition since Austin College’s Michael Holland was recognized in week nine of the 2019-20 season. He is the first Centenary athlete to be named to the team since Travion Kirkendoll earned the distinction in week nine of the 2017-18 season.
