Baseball - Week 2
The SCAC baseball season continued last week, highlighted by Southwestern sweeping a three-game series against Sul Ross St. in non-conference action to open the Pirates 2024 campaign. This year marks the second-straight Southwestern has opened the season, 3-0, and the first time since the 2004-2005 the Pirates have put together back-to-back 3-0 starts to a campaign. Golf - Week 7
SCAC Men’s Golf returned to action last week to kick off the spring season as Southwestern, Schreiner, Dallas and St. Thomas all competed at the San Antonio Shootout. The Pirates paced all SCAC squads finishing second out of eight teams, while Schreiner finished third, Dallas fifth and St. Thomas eighth. Both the men and women are back in action this week at the Space City Classic as St. Thomas, Texas Lutheran and Trintiy will be competing on the men’s side and Dallas, Schreiner, Southwestern, St. Thomas, Texas Lutheran and Trintiy will all battle it out on the women’s side. Softball - Week 2
Non-conference action continued last week in SCAC Softball, highlighted by Trinity improving to 4-2 following a sweep of Howard Payne and splitting with nationally ranked ETBU. This is the first time since 2021 the Tigers have opened the season winning four of their opening six contests. Men's Tennis - Week 3
The first SCAC matches of the men’s tennis season took place last week as Southwestern earned victories over both Austin College and Dallas. In non-conference action, Trinity, Schreiner, Texas Lutheran and Colorado College all secured wins. Women's Tennis - Week 3
Southwestern kicked off its 2024 season by earning a pair of SCAC wins last week to open up the conference slate of matches. The Pirates knocked off Dallas and Austin College in addition to earning a non-conference victory over UT-Dallas to improved to 3-0. Trinity joins Southwestern as the other unbeaten team in the SCAC as the Tigers are currently 4-0 after securing wins last week over Hardin-Simmons and Concordia.
