Men's Basketball - Week 8
SCAC Men’s Basketball action returned last week coming off the Holiday Break as Trinity climbed to No. 9 in the country, even receiving one first-place vote. The Tigers are off to the best start in SCAC history, improving to 14-0, 5-0 in league play after handing Schreiner (9-6, 4-1) in first loss in conference play Tuesday night. The 14-straight wins to open the season break the previous conference best of 13 set by St. Thomas at the start of the 2019-20 season. Conference action returns on Friday as Southwestern (1-13, 0-5) travels to St. Thomas (11-2, 3-1), Texas Lutheran (3-11, 2-3) visits Centenary (7-6, 2-2) and Colorado College (6-5, 2-2) hosts Trinity. Player of the Week - Jacob Harvey, Trinity University

Women's Basketball - Week 8
SCAC Women’s Basketball returned to action last week following the Holiday Break as both Texas Lutheran (11-3, 4-1) and Colorado College (9-4, 3-1) collected a pair of league victories and remained just one game back in the loss collum behind Trinity (10-4, 5-0) who sits atop the conference standings. Seven SCAC contests are scheduled for this weekend, starting on Friday as Texas Lutheran heads to Louisiana to take on Centenary (1-11, 0-4), Southwestern (2-12, 1-4) travels to St. Thomas (4-9, 2-2) and Colorado College hosts Trinity.
