Men's Basketball - Week 12
As the calendar is set to turn to February the race for a spot in the SCAC Tournament tightens as five teams sit above .500 in league play led by Trinity (20-1, 11-1) followed by St. Thomas (16-4, 8-3), Colorado College (12-7, 6-4), Schreiner (12-9, 7-5) and rounding out the current top five Centenary (11-9, 6-5). Going into the weekend, SCAC play kicks off on Friday as Centenary visits Colorado College, Southwestern (1-19, 0-11) travels to Dallas (8-12, 5-7) and Austin College (9-11, 5-7) hosts Texas Lutheran (4-16, 3-8). Women's Basketball - Week 12
SCAC Women’s Basketball action continued last week as Trinity (16-5, 11-1) extended its winning streak to six after a pair of league wins over Austin College (6-14, 5-7) and Dallas (12-9, 6-6). This season, Tigers head coach Cameron Hill moved into second all-time in SCAC women’s basketball coaches’ history for total league wins that now stands at 153 in his 14th season at the helm of the Trinity program. League action continues Friday starting with Southwestern (4-16, 3-8) taking on Dallas in Irving, Colorado College (14-5, 8-2) hosting Centenary (2-17, 1-10) and Texas Lutheran (15-5, 8-3) traveling to Austin College. Swimming & Diving - Week 11
The final preparations are taking place as SCAC squads start to prepare for the conference championship set to begin on Wednesday, February 14th. Last week a number of team participated in dual meets, highlighted by McMurry defeating St. Thomas on both the men’s and women’s side, the Ozarks men’s and women’s team defeated Williams Baptist and the Trinity women defeated Div.
