The two teams took different paths to the title game as host Texas Lutheran came out of the winner’s bracket, while Trinity won in dramatic fashion via a walk-off victory over Southwestern in the loser's bracket championship game to earn a shot at playing for a SCAC championship.
Tomorrow’s championship bout will be the 13th meeting between the two teams in SCAC Tournament history, including the fifth meeting between the two teams in the SCAC championship game.
