Baseball - Week 1
The 2024 SCAC Baseball season is underway as league squads posted an impressive 9-5 record during the opening week despite weather impacting a number of scheduled contests. Dallas (1-0), Texas Lutheran (5-2) and St. Thomas (201) are all above .500 to get the year underway. Non-conference baseball action continues this week with 26 contests scheduled, highlighted by Austin College, Centenary and Southwestern all scheduled to open their 2024 seasons. Men's Basketball - Week 14
Heading into the final weekend of SCAC Men’s Basketball regular season action the Trinity Tigers (22-1, 13-1) have earn the regular season crown after extending their win streak to seven with wins over Schreiner (12-11, 7-7) and Colorado College (13-10, 7-7) last week. Trinity, which is in search of its first SCAC Tournament title since the 2013-14 season, has secured the top seed and bye into the semifinals going into next week’s conference tournament. The final tournament seedings will be announced this weekend at the conclusion of the regular season. Weekend action tips off Friday when Southwestern (2-22, 1-14) travels to Texas Lutheran (5-19, 4-11), Centenary (14-9, 9-5) hosts Schreiner, Trinity meets St. Thomas (18-5, 10-4) in Houston and Austin College (12-12, 7-8) heads to Colorado to face Colorado College. Player of the Week - Luke Hatcher, Southwestern University

Women's Basketball - Week 14
The Trinity Tigers (18-5, 13-1) secured the top-seed for next weekend’s SCAC Women’s Basketball Tournament after knocking off Schreiner (8-15, 7-7) and Colorado College (16-7, 10-4) last week. This year marks the ninth-straight tournament the Tigers have earned the number one seed, winning the SCAC Title in six of the previous eight championships. The final tournament seeds will be announced this weekend at the conclusion of the regular season. SCAC action tips off on Friday when Schreiner travels to Centenary (2-20, 1-13), Southwestern (5-19, 4-11) takes on Texas Lutheran (19-5, 12-3) in Seguin, St. Thomas (6-17, 4-10) hosts Trinity and Austin College (9-15, 7-8) visits Colorado College in Colorado. Softball - Week 1
The 2024 SCAC Softball season kicked off last week as league teams combined for a 6-9 record, highlighted by Austin College opening the season a perfect 2-0 for the first time since 2016. Texas Lutheran joined the ‘Roos at 2-0 after sweeping Div. II St. Mary’s in a doubleheader to open the year. Non-conference softball action continues this week as 13 doubleheaders are scheduled starting on Tuesday, highlighted by Southwestern opening its 2024 campaign against UMHB on Saturday. Men's Tennis - Week 2
Weather played a factor in the opening weeks of SCAC Men’s Tennis action with a number of matches cancelled, however Dallas, Trinity, Schreiner, Colorado College and Texas Lutheran all got the 2024 season underway. Tennis matches continue this week as Austin College, St. Thomas and Southwestern are all scheduled to open their 2024 campaigns on Friday, highlighted by the ‘Roos and Pirates facing off in an SCAC match.
