MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. - Trinity University senior linebacker Ben Robinson and Birmingham-Southern College senior linebacker Dustin Massey were named to the D3football.com Team of the Week, presented by Scoutware, for their performances on November 5.
Robinson, who yesterday was named the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference defensive player of the week, earned a spot on the team after he tallied 11 tackles (seven solo) as well as three tackles for loss and a sack in Trinity's 20-14 win over Centre.
The win earned Trinity the SCAC's automatic bid to the NCAA Division III Football Championship.
Massey was named to the national team of the week for his six tackle (three solo) effort in the Panthers' 54-0 win over Rhodes. He also chipped in with an interception as well.
