LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - The eighth week of the regular season pitted two of the nation's best against each other in a Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference matchup.
No. 1 Trinity University (23-4) swept No. 12 Centenary College (17-6) with 11-4, 13-3 and 11-4 finals. Texas Lutheran (16-9) split an out-of-conference doubleheader against Texas-Dallas.
Southwestern University (7-17) was back in action against Schreiner University (6-20) earning a 2-1 series victory. The University of Dallas (7-19) earned their first 3-0 sweep of the season against Austin College (9-14).
