LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - The 2016 SCAC Baseball Tournament bracket is officially set after the final weekend of the regular season.
No. 3 Trinity University (32-7, 14-4) swept Austin College (13-25, 2-16) last weekend, and after Texas Lutheran (24-13, 14-4) dropped a pair to Southwestern University (16-23, 10-8), earned a share of the SCAC Regular Season Title. TLU and Trinity will head into the SCAC tournament as Regular Season Co-Champions holding the #1 and #2 seeds respectively.
No. 24 Centenary College (26-11, 10-8) lost the series 2-1 at Dallas (12-28, 8-10) and will be the #3 seed in the tournament. Southwestern rounds out the bracket at #4. Schreiner University (12-28, 5-13) had a successful weekend against out-of-conference opponent Hardin-Simmons, winning the series 2-1.
