HOW IT HAPPENED
- Trinity jumped out to a 2-0 lead with a chance to close it out in straight sets, but Colorado College answered 25-23 to stay alive.
- In the highest scoring set in the SCAC tournament since 2010, Colorado College evened it up with a 30-28 victory to force a decisive set five.
- Trinity went on a six point run early in the fifth set and held on to win 15-12.

- This is the fifth straight year that Trinity has been in the championship match of the SCAC tournament. They have won the last two, both against their upcoming opponent, Southwestern University.
- The last time Southwestern defeated Trinity in the conference tournament was 2009, the same year was the last time the Pirates took home the championship.
- Trinity handed Colorado College their first loss against conference competition all season.
