SKILLMAN, N.J. – The Trinity University men remained at No. 12 in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) rankings this week.
The Tigers also remained at No. 3 in the West Region rankings.
Trinity currently holds an 13-7 record in NCAA competition and are 11-5 against Division III competition. The Tigers have won two of their last three matches this season, defeating the University of Mary Hardin-Baylorand Concordia University, but falling to No. 7 Washington University (St. Louis). They have earned a 4-5 record against nationally ranked Division III competition this season.
Southwestern University and Schreiner University each held on to regional rankings as teams. The Pirates made a five spot jump, earning the 11th spot in the West Region, while Schreiner held on to No. 20.
Trinity has one played ranked regionally, with Paxton Deuel coming in at No. 4. Southwestern's Nike Snovely is the only other SCAC individual in the rankings.
The duo of Snovely and teammate Grant Gideon is the league's higest ranking doubles pair, coming in at No. 9 in the region, followed by Deuel and Matt Tyer in the No. 12 spot.
