LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - The Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference baseball programs competed in the first weekend of conference play last week.
Centenary College (14-3) and Texas Lutheran (11-7) went 3-0 against conference opponents last week. The Gents downed Austin College (9-8) with a series sweep while the Bulldogs swept Schreiner University (5-14).
No. 4 Trinity University (16-4) earned a 2-1 series victory over Southwestern University (5-15) at home. The University of Dallas (4-15) dropped their series to out-of-conference opponent Hardin-Simmons. The Crusaders will begin SCAC play on Saturday, March 19th against Trinity.
