How it Happened

  • The Tigers got off to a quick 3-0 lead after doubles, with the duo of Paxton Deuel/Matt Tyer winning in the top spot, Chas Mayer/Clayton Niess taking No. 2 and Elliot Guin/Wilson Lambeth closing it out at No. 3
  • Deuel and Mayer got off to hot starts in singles play, quickly taking their first sets
  • Wilson Lambeth earned the Tigers fourth point, winning in the No. 3 spot before Deuel closed out the match with a win in the top line

In the third place match, Colorado College got a narrow win over Schreiner University. The Mountaineers held a 2-1 lead after doubles, with Pena/Hancock winning at No. 1 and New/Albright taking the No. 3 spot. Colorado College's lone point came from Delehanty/Chen. In singles, all of the matches remained close, but CC took Nos. 2, 3, 4 and 6 to earn the win.
