This week in SCAC Football History:
(September 15 - September 21)
September 18, 2004
In a 51-27 victory over the Redlands, Trinity University broke a school-record (680 yards against Texas A&I) that had been standing since 1952, and also shattered the CAC/SCAC mark (670 yards by Trinity against Rose-Hulman in 2001) for that same record of total offense. The Tigers team piled up 701 yards of total offense with 389 of those yards coming on the ground as the front five controlled the line of scrimmage for its best team rushing performance in three years. Overall, Trinity averaged better than 10 yards per play on offense, needing just 68 plays to break 700 yards.
