MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. - Senior defensive back Drake Dowling of Texas Lutheran University has been named to the D3football.com Team of the Week.
During TLU's 49-20 victory over Howard Payne on Saturday, Dowling returned a blocked field goal 55 yards for a score. He also added a 49-yard punt return that set up a TLU score three plays later.
On the defensive side of the ball, Dowling led the Bulldogs with 10 total tackles. For his efforts, Dowling was also named the SCAC Special Teams Player of the Week.
